A criminal psychotherapist named Theo Faber waits a long time for the opportunity to work with Alicia. Alicia’s refusal to give any kind of explanation causes the price of her art skyrockets while she resides at the Grove, a secure forensic unit in North London.

Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures is teaming up Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B to bring the crime thriller The Silent Patient to the big screen, per The Hollywood Reporter. The film is on the debut novel from Alex Michaelides, which reached the number one spot on the New York Times Bestseller list.
